The outdoor after party will take place just across the lake from the race on the lawn of the historic American Legion Charles Johnson house.

Race winners will be recognized and presented with their prize packages at the after party.



The after party will be held on the lawn of the American Legion Charles Johnson house, located on the north side of Lady Bird Lake, just west of Mopac.


Free parking will be available underneath the Mopac bridge and along Veterans Drive.


The safety of our participants, volunteers and staff is our top priority. The Riverbat Paddle Battle after party and activities will be hosted outdoors. As we approach the event date, we will finalize safe measures in accordance with local, state and CDC guidelines, which may include, temperature checks, social distancing and masks requirements. Please stay home if you have any symptoms of COVID-19.

Individual tickets for the after party cost $50 for adults and $20 for children under the age of 18, which includes all food and drinks. All proceeds benefit the Austin Community College Foundation.

Yes! Each ticket includes food and non-alcoholic beverages generously provided by our sponsors. There will also be an open bar available for attendees age 21 and older.

Yes! This will be a family-friendly event.

The event will be held rain or shine. We will work closely with the team at Rowing Dock to monitor the weather; in the event it is unsafe to be on the water we will notify kayak race participants as early as possible.
