AFTER PARTY

If you prefer to stay off the water, you can still participate in this fun and family-friendly event and support the Austin Community College Foundation by purchasing a ticket to the after party! Stay tuned for our 2021 date to be announced soon.

The after party will take place just across the lake from the race at the historic American Legion Charles Johnson house.

Please note: the after party will be held rain or shine, moving under tents or inside the Charles Johnson house if needed.

Race winners will be recognized and presented with their prize packages at the after party.

The after party will be held at the American Legion Charles Johnson house, located on the north side of Lady Bird Lake, just west of Mopac.

PARKING

Free parking will be available underneath the Mopac bridge and along Veterans Drive.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How much do tickets for the after party cost?

Individual tickets for the after party cost $50 for adults and $20 for children under the age of 18, which includes all food and drinks. All proceeds benefit the Austin Community College Foundation.

Are food and drinks included with the price of my ticket?

Yes! Each ticket includes food and non-alcoholic beverages generously provided by our sponsors. There will also be an open bar available for attendees age 21 and older.

Are kids welcome at the after party?

Yes! This will be a family-friendly event.

What happens if there is inclement weather?

The event will be held rain or shine. We will work closely with the team at Rowing Dock to monitor the weather; in the event it is unsafe to be on the water we will notify kayak race participants as early as possible.
